White Cabbage "Roem van Enkhuizen 2".
A legendary classic variety for the tastiest sauerkraut!
A time-tested mid-early Dutch variety (vegetation period 85-95 days).
The heads are light green, round, and very juicy. The variety is ideal for making sauerkraut as early as August-September, as well as for fresh consumption and freezing.
Features: the heads are prone to cracking when overgrown, so the harvest must be gathered in a timely manner! Fresh storage life is short — up to 3 months.
Cultivation.
Seeds are sown for seedlings in March; the optimal temperature for germination is +18+20°C. Transplanting seedlings into open ground is carried out in April or May.
The culture is cold-resistant but loves light and moisture. When planting, place in open, sunny, and fertile areas.
